چکیده

We examine the properties of spiral shocks from a steady, adiabatic, non-axisymmetric accretion disk around compact star in binary. first time incorporate all possible influences binary through adopting Roche potential and Coriolis forces basic conservation equations. In this paper, we assume to be point-wise self-similar, flow is vertical hydrostatic equilibrium simplify study. also investigate mass outflow due shock compression apply it accreting white dwarf find that our model will beneficial overcome ad hoc assumption optically thick wind generally used studies progenitor supernovae Ia.

A Simplified Solution for Advection Dominated Accretion Flows with Outflow

The existence of outflow in the advection dominated accretion flows has been confirmed by both numerical simulations and observations. The outow models for ADAF have been investigated by several groups with a simple self similar solution. But this solution is inaccurate at the inner regions and can not explain the emitted spectrum of the flow; so, it is necessary to obtain a global solution for...

Advection-dominated Accretion: a Self-similar Solution

We consider viscous rotating accretion flows in which most of the viscously dissipated energy is stored as entropy rather than being radiated. Such advection-dominated flows may occur when the optical depth is either very small or very large. We obtain a family of self-similar solutions where the temperature of the accreting gas is nearly virial and the flow is quasi-spherical. The gas rotates ...

Self-Similar Force-Free Wind From an Accretion Disk

We consider a self-similar force-free wind flowing out of an infinitely thin disk located in the equatorial plane. On the disk plane, we assume that the magnetic stream function P scales as P ∝ R , where R is the cylindrical radius. We also assume that the azimuthal velocity in the disk is constant: vφ = Mc, where M < 1 is a constant. For each choice of the parameters ν and M , we find an infin...

Spiral Shocks in 3D Accretion Discs

We have performed three-dimensional numerical simulations of accretion discs in a close binary system using the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. Our results show that, contrary to previous claims, 3D discs do exist even when the specific heat ratio of the gas is as large as γ = 1.2. Although the disc is clearly more spread in the z-direction in this case than it is for the quasi-is...

Searching Evidences for Spiral Shocks in the Quiescent Accretion Disk of U Gem

We find that the quiescent accretion disk of U Gem has a complicated structure. Along to the bright spot originating in the region of interaction between the stream and the disk particles, there are also explicit indications of spiral shocks. The Doppler map and the variations of the peak separation of the emission lines are indicative.
